Synthesizing Vocabulary

My son is great. Why? Because he takes after me (ha!) No it's because he is following an old family tradition of making up words. Today he asked for 'cheeza' for lunch, which is Caleb speak for cheese pizza / cheesy bread / any combination of cheese and bread not resulting in a sandwich. True when googled cheeza is not an original word in the history of the English language, but it still counts here for us, and put big cheeza smiles on our face.
Our cheeza today was homemade pita bread (80% successful, next time will be better) stuffed with mozzarella.
